Course description

The focus is on common clinical problems encountered in primary care practice. The program incorporates the knowledge and skills of many disciplines needed for effective management of medical, neurological, and psychiatric illness in the older adult. Lectures are complimented by small group workshop sessions that emphasize practical approached to complex problems of a geriatric population in a variety of settings, including office practices, hospitals, and nursing homes. Target audience includes all medical professionals seeking training in the care of an older population.
