Flaminia Catteruccia, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Professor Catteruccia is a molecular entomologist who studies reproductive biology of Anopheles gambiae mosquitoes and factors that shape the development of malaria parasites in mosquitoes. Her research aims at answering basic biological questions as well as developing new tools for malaria control programs.
