Lauren M. Yang, MD, studied Biology and Spanish at Cornell University before attending Washington University in Saint Louis School of Medicine. She underwent Internal Medicine training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was delighted to stay for fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.  Her interest in education started in college, as an instructor of English as a second language.  Some of her favorite teaching opportunities include teaching Health Education to Saint Louis Public School students and GI pathophysiology at Harvard Medical School.
